siam2007
I just read a report on the website of a daily newspaper that cannot be mentioned on this Forum that a new inter-provincial Bus connection has been established from and to U-Tapao, for example from Trat and Chanthaburi as well as from/to Chonburi (with stops at PTY and SriRacha). The schedule and the name of the company have not been mentioned though. Anybody knows more about this?
champers
I am reading the hard copy of the paper and a photo shows the busses to be minibusses. They will be fitted with GPS and ABS. There are 3 routes to Trat, Rayong and Chonburi. Pattaya is a stop on the Chonburi route and price will be in the range of 14 to 64 Baht. Compare this to the 250 Baht currently payable in a minibus from the airport direct to your place of stay. 4 busses per day are scheduled, more to be added as and when required. grkt
They are just vans, not any special minibus.
