Hi Guys,

i went into my local Immigration office last week (Khon Kaen) to apply for another years extension to my Non O visa. All went smoothly (!), but i forgot to ask where i stand regarding my 90 day report.

The last report says to report back on the 14th May (when my previous year extension was up).

Do i still have to do this now my application is under consideration? I think not, but just checking! I'm due to go back and get the years extension on June 13th.

Thanks all.

After any 90 continuous days in Thailand one must complete a 90 day report. Only the first application for extension counts as a 90 day report.  You must complete a 90 day report as stated on the last 90 report receipt, May 14.

If the date on the receipt for your last 90 day report is May 14th that is still when you have to do it.

Yes. Unless the office have instructed you differently you need to stick to May 14th.

Im in Khon Kaen and had the same question before. You still have to do your report on time. Regardless if you are waiting on the extension or not.

Must be different at different offices.  My IO says my application for extension is in itself reporting, form or no form.  When I go back after the 30 days "pending" and get my new extension, they then give me a new form to fill and date to report again.

Every extension I've had, they automatically update my 90 day report.  I'm pretty sure they don't have to, in which case you have to report when stated on your slip.

Yes, it does vary at different offices.

IMO a new extension application should reset the 90 day report clock because you’ve just updated your address. Fortunately some offices do apply common sense.
