Yo Mac,

Great pic's and I am so happy to see you back on form again after all the "dad-stress!!!", even though you are ********years old!!

The only thing I am concerned about whilst Bee is in hospital is that flippin breakfast you cooked for yourself and devoured, especially after my recent coronary illness, I'm not allowed to even look at that photograph, never mind think about eating it!!!

Sorry I wasn't there to give my personal support, I could only do it with comm's. However I will be there for sure when i get home mid Feb and looking at the "Drunk" icon I posted in my opening of this thread for wetting the baby's head, well I haven't yet decided which one of us is going to be on the right hand side of the icon as one views it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the best bud and see ya soon..............Ray :o

Your a good buddy and your wife is wonderful as well what a great couple: You and Sunan must come and stay over if you wish bring your son with you , I promise not to cook a greasey breakfast, cuzz Ron is doing a BBQ American style this Thursday night and of course some beer he wants to wet the babies head before going back to Bkk. We can give you a healthy diet mate

Take care over there see you in Feb mate

Congratulations, Glorias a nice name, very old fashioned but thats all the rage here in the UK at the moment. Maybe your mums more "in the know" with current trends than you :o

You could be right she is pretty switched on really for 86 yrs old and still doing her own cooking bless her.

Congratulations. Hope mum and baby are doing well.

Love the name Jasmin but maybe I'm a bit biased as our 15yr old is called Jasmin, but everyone calls her jaz. It's an easy name for both falangs and Thais to pronounce.

Take care and look after your precious bundle of joy.

Hey Mac,

CONGRATS. It is not so "SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE" at this point. Mali is 25 days old and sleeping 5-6 hours a night now and very alert throughout the day. My wife is starting to return to her daily routine after the C-Section. It is tough so be prepared for that. It is funny that you named her Jasmine (English) and you are in Thailand and I named my daughter Mali (Thai) and I am in the U.S.

You will start to see things a little different every day from this day forward. Congrats again and tell Bee that we all wish you guys the best. Better practice changing those diapers :o

Well yesterday the wife and Daughter returned home:

Last night Bee her sister and mama and daughter all slept downstairs, I wetn up to a nice comfortable

bed, Bee finds it earsier to sleep downstairs.

Oh Yes today Bee insisted on going and making birth Certificate and adding Gloria to family book, despite discomfort from Caesarian.

So here is the daughters official name now Gloria Jasmin

My wife and I have been trying long distance for over a year now, not easy when you are only home for 8-12 days at a go and the painters are in!.....But she is a fantastic woman with a great sense of humour and when I told her about MacB's new bundle of love she said "I give you 2, when you give me 1?".....referring to my 2 fantastic step-sons and the fact that I have again returned to work without depositing anything in the oven!....I hope I'm blessed with a healthy baby soon, or she will start upping the ante!

Happy days!.....TT

Thailandtony, a fertility specialist I saw last year told me 2 of the main reasons people with "normal" fertility couldn't conceive was not enough sex & not enough sex at the right time. :o Sounds like your schedules are incompatible at the moment. Anyway to change your honme trips to the time your wife is at her most fertile?? i.e 14 days from the start of her last period. There is only a small window of opportunity there which a lot of poeple aren't aware of and coming home when the painters are in (I haven't heard that for a while :D) will never get you the child you both want.

check out this ovulation calander, It proved very useful when we started actively trying :D

If its helps TT have been with my wife since December 2003, during 2004 while the house was being built we decided if it hapens it happens, well we moved in to the house in Feb 2005 and nothing happened till April 2006 so you see dont panic Mr Mannering. I was getting all the 'Think your to old to have babies and cant do'

I knew I was capable plus I got to sons in UK.

gonna be following your baby story closely mac very interested to see how little un grows over the next few years.. hoping to one day settle with a thia lass in LOS (and would love it to be in/around Isaan) and have often wondered what western features our offspring would carry, and what beautiful looks from mothers side would be present too

I got shouted at in another forum for saying something similar 'you should love your baby no matter what!' blah blah, obviously the fool read it wrong but I think you get what I'm trying to say...

hope you're all getting well deserved rest!

I know what your saying mate, but also know what you mean.

Although our daughter was born looking Farang she has perfect features which have to some from her mother, not me even though the ladies say I am handsome hahahahah.

If you look at me and the wife then the daughter decide for yourself

Hey TT,

My wife is always pointing out things here in the U.S. that are Made in Thailand. She gets the biggest kick now telling people that our daughter was MADE IN THAILAND. She was in Isaan for a few weeks last year before I came over for vacation so we know conception within two or three days :D . All the Beer Chang along with the barking dogs must have done the trick :o as we had been married for 10 months with no luck. We had discussed starting the ovulation chart to increase our chances upon our return to the states.

I hope that this does not happen each time I return to Thailand though or I will have to send all my progeny to live with Grandma and Grandpa in Ubon. :D
