looking for an actual 4 star hotel with pool near Asok or Nana BTS..

Hi all!

I'm looking for a 30 day stay in a reasonably higher-end hotel within say, a 10 minute walk of either Asok or Nana BTS (I'm getting clothes made).

My budget is $3000 USD / 100k baht for the month, there is some flexibility.

I've spent the last month looking trying to google up something appropriate and its not going well.  Lots of highly suspicious glowing reviews and far too many horror stories mixed in with them.

Basically my wish list is:

Has to have a pool.

Would prefer a spa/workout area as well.

Would prefer a separate living/sleeping area to some extent because I'll be up very late and dont want to keep my significant other awake if I dont have to.

Would prefer some sort of patio as well.

Proper, quiet AC obviously.

Quiet in general in the rooms.

I dont care about the lobby/buffet/whatever, I'd be eating out or getting meals delivered.

Clean (I have reasonable expectations but for $3000 a month, I dont want to feel afraid to touch anything).

Lastly I'd prefer that "non-smoking room" mean "non-smoking room".

I know that you're not tour guides but I also know that if any community on earth would have people with first hand recent knowledge of where to find such a magical hotel, it would be this one right here.   So my sincere thanks in advance for any/all feedback.

Never say never I suppose but really not on the menu this trip.  If anyone can suggest a serviced apt / executive apt in particular, that would be pretty great of course.  Again I find myself running into the usual mixed bag reviews and I'm inclined to trust what I read here with regards to first person experiences.

With that budget you could probably stay at the Landmark, but good value for money, quiet, clean, excellent gym can be found at Dynasty Grande on Sukh soi 6.

Sadly the Landmark rooms that have fairly isolated sleeping areas are almost double my budget but wowwwwww are they nice... real food for thought there.. Dynasty Grande honestly doesnt really move me, it seems a bit cramped for 2 people and the price seems to largely reflect its stones-throw proximity to Nana BTS.  I'd rather walk for 10 minutes and have nicer accommodations for that sort of money.  Not that i don't appreciate the suggestion of course, cheers.

What reviews have you read that are mixed bag? I have stayed in about 40 - 4 and 5 star hotels in Bangkok and every single one was up to par.

I rarely trust most negative reviews..... especially hotel reviews. A lot of people leaving them are pain in the behind in real life. Of course, some are completely justified.

generally ill stumble across infrastructure issue complaints like 'the hot water wasnt working' or 'non-smoking room was filled with smoke' or 'AC was insanely loud'  etc etc, just quality of life issues that shouldnt be happening in rooms in this price range.  and there seemed to be enough different reviews from different people that had similar themes to where i felt i needed to reach out and get some informed advice.

God I love this forum.  Thank you simoh1490, I've submitted a request for information regarding the Asoke residence (apparently there is no online booking link).

I've stayed at different Somerset serviced apartments in Bangkok many times, they used to have one in Chidlom that was ideal but sadly now looks like it's closed - as a group they are all professionally run and their apartments are of a good standard. Some online booking here: https://www.somerset.com/en/thailand/bangkok/somerset-sukhumvit-thonglor-bangkok/index.html?gclid=CIHq8vnSjdsCFUIWjgodWEMATg&gclsrc=ds

I notice they dont actually mention wifi/internet that I can see, are these apartments wired or are they assuming that tenants will be staying long enough to set up their own internet?

You could ask them!

Maybe a little over your budget, but Centerpoint Terminal 21 would be perfect.

I’ve stayed there a number of times, for as long as two weeks and loved it.

both these are extremely tempting.  Centerpoint looks AMAZING but yeah its just a bit over budget.  Omni honestly looks like its going to be the winner here because that 1br price is absolutely unbeatable.  Going to have to give this a bit of thought because honestly I love both options.

thank you, both of you!
