Is there an official list of items needed to acquire a working permit for teaching English in Thailand.

1. 4 Year Degree

2. TEFL or TESOL cert

3. Medical check?

4. FBI background report?

5. Work experience letter proving 2+ years of experience?

And do all these need either apostille or authentication from the embassy of the document's origin?

I've taught in Korea and China, and the requirements are all different and the authentication is different, but the guidelines and requirements are crystal clear. What about Thailand? Are there such clear procedures or will it vary too widely? If it does vary, could you at least tell me what the average public school will ask for?

Thank you!
