Chinese investors meet PM

 

 

BANGKOK, 31st May 2018 (NNT) - Chinese investors have shown interest in investing in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) during a meeting with Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha at Government House. 

A group of Chinese entrepreneurs led by Air Business College Chairman Zhao Tao met with Gen Prayut to discuss possible investments in Thailand. Mr. Tao said he was ready to use the knowledge he gained from observing China's special economic zones to promote sustainable development in the EEC. He added that Thailand is a destination suitable for long-term foreign investments. 

Topics of discussion also included the current economic trend, fair trade, and innovation. The Thai economy is expected to benefit from Chinese technology and future cooperation.

The should form a committee, a panel and an agency, all managed by a board of buzzwords.

And, how fitting that the carpet has a shrimp buffet plate motif.

I am surprised at the photo, I expected it to be more like VIP room at a club where the Chinese had wads of thousand baht notes and they were making it rain on the Thai ministers, who were scooping it all up and tucking it in their clothes.

I wish I could have a sneak preview in the container stuffed with good will gifts they brought.

In 10 years they will own this place.  They love it so much and will spend huge money.

Did they complain that many of those AliExpress packets were "lost" by the Thai post or unfairly bonded at Thai customs ?

I would hope so, but I see that area rising.

I am seeing a lot more young Chinese males who have money.

Many more now in the clubs and Gogo's paying whatever.

Places like Insomnia, etc. many.

And I won't even talk about the Gogo prices now ridiculous 2000 b just for bf, I just stopped going.

But these guys pack it and pay it.
