A Thai woman from Chaiyaphum has told the media what she claims happened to her after an accident on Beach 2 road on Monday.

There had been a collision and after failing to agree terms with the other party "Fon", 23, went to the police station.

There she was subjected to a breath test twice with both times the results coming back negative.

However, a third test was conducted and this allegedly showed her to be over the limit.

She was put in the cells and she feared for her safety as she was with men in there.

She appealed to her jailer to have her let out.

He said for 20,000 baht it could all go away.

The police took her ATM card and she was released.

But that was not the end of the matter. A man who appeared to be a policeman at the station then asked for a kiss.

Feeling unable to refuse she was kissed in front of other people.

Then in full view of the public arriving at the station in the morning around 10-11 am she was groped by the man.

She has registered a complaint with Pol Lt Col Thammanchit Sitthisat requesting that CCTV be checked to back up her claims.

Well done Fon.....................

If it is all true, make sure you see the in-date calibration certificates for the breathalyzer equipment used; if it only registers on the 3rd attempt, there is something wrong with it.

Also don't take any cr@p about the CCTV not working when it comes to that part of it.....................

If you drive drunk there are no sympathy for me 20.000 b and no charges it means you lucky

And if this happens one day to your daughter or your wife (assuming you have one), you would not mind having her boobies fondled by a cop who maybe is more drunk then she is ?

That’s interesting. I know for FACT of foreign Asian woman (with Thai Hubble) fleeced 30,000 baht, what was the standard farang price in Chiang Mai a few years ago. Now no longer available thanks to the Army.

Better to take an UBER.

The problem with this case is if the police are going to extort some one its not very smart to try and extort money and sex...The woman might have been ok with having her money taken and she might have been ok with trading sex but having her money taken and giving out free sex was just not ok...

You can see now why so many Thais break the law. The law that is supposed to protect them cant even be upheld by the people who are supposed to enforce it. A very corrupt country run by a very corrupt police force. I am afraid the apple is rotten to the core.

And the Police said "What CCTV is that?" "Not working at the moment". :whistling:
