90 Day rep online - where am I going wrong

Featured Replies

So I attempted to do my first 90 day reporting today. I tried to do this online. Filling in the form was straightforward however when I click accept a little window comes up say " for further information regarding The 90-day notification report service, please contact the immigration branch office in your residence area ". The egg timer then just goes round and round and eventually takes me back to where I started. No reference number of anything given. I can only presume it hasn't been accepted.

Where am I going wrong ?

Apparently you did not get past step one of 4 to do the report.

The message you got means your record could not be found.

Double check that you entered all the required fields correctly. I suggest you only complete the required fields that have a * beside them.

Did you use the drop down menu for your nationality all dates entered as day/month/year.

Enter all of the TM6 card number (AB12345).

yes I did exactly that. I did subsequently read somewhere that it can only be done using internet explorer. I was using Chrome, is that a problem ?

It could cause problems. I suggest using IE Tab that runs a basic version of internet explorer.

ok thanks I'll try.

I did also read somewhere that your first time you need to do it in person. Is that true ?

That can depend upon the office you report to. They can approve it or reject it or disprove it.

I am having the exact same problem. All information has been entered, using menus etc. In the past I could do this using Safari with an IE add-on. As that didn't work I tried it in Chriome. Still does not work.

I wonder if the system is down?

It could be that the system cannot access the database where the records are kept. It has happened before.

Trying again later is all I can suggest.

The system is not down, my report date is the 12th of this month, I filled the on-line report out on the 5th, (thought I'd left it too late) it was immediately accepted and later on in the day I received an email telling me that my 90 day report had been approved.

I have done it several times, most recently last month, using Chrome with no tweaks - just as I use every day.

One time it was rejected. No reason given, of course.  I double checked and found my arrival flight number was off one digit.

Be sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of each page for boxes that confirm you understand, consent, etc.

It works.

If it doesn't have a * by the question you don't have to fill it in. So no need to enter a flight number.

I used chrome on Monday with no problems.

I've tried 3 browsers now, tried missing out flight details, nothing works.

Not every immigration office accepts online reporting. That could be your issue. You haven't said which office your attempting to report online too.

But that would not prevent a person from doing the application. It only means it would be pending with no approval or rejection.

I'm based in Bangkok for what it's worth.

They accept online reports.

Just try later is all you can do.

No it doesn't. You get the message to contact the Immigration office as soon as you send it. You don't get as far as it even accepting the report.

I can see a nice day trip coming soon...

That message to contact your local office is due to your record not being found. And only occurs on page one.

The system does not determine where your application will be sent to until much later than the first page of the report.

Jomtien doesn't accept Online reporting. If you try and report online, that's the message you get. Everybody gets that message, even though we have reported for years manually. I even asked them why do we get that message before we realised they do not accept online reporting. They replied the message is telling you to come here and do it manually as we don't accept the online reporting. That would actually make more sense than accepting a report for it just sit there.

Jomptien do accept on-line reporting, I on-line report there every 3 months.

Ok stupid question, but how does it know where I am based from page one alone. Is it taken from the information I originally put on the TM6 when I arrived in Thailand ? Which incidentally was the same address as I am now.

You are the only person that has ever done online reporting to Jomtien. They even say themselves they simply don't accept it.

I must be a liar then?

My imm office accepts online reports and I have done them before. but today it simply does not go through. Can't get past page 1. Both for myself and a Cambodian friend I am also doing it for.

Me too (but not recently).

When?

There have been many reports by people that have done online 90 day reports to Jomtien.

It does not know until you get to the 2nd step of the application.

The database it accesses does not have your address.
