Yes.... at some.

 

I used it last year for access to Doi Inthanon ( Chiang Mai ) and got Thai price and saved 200 Baht.

 

However it was not recognized at the White Temple in Chiang Rai

 

Some Pattaya Soi 10, hotels have stopped recognizing the Pink ID card now and insist on Passport only

  • the pink card is called "Baat Prajaam Tua" so pink or any color, you should apply for that. I think some places may be difficult, at my office they had to restart the computer with a different softwar

I was at the amphur today to get my yellow book and asked my wife to ask about the pink Id card aswell.  They insisted it was only for the neighbouring migrant workers. 

 

Would i have to use my local amphur to get it or can I use another one?
