Three transgenders fined for public nudity

 

 

PATTAYA:--Three transgenders have been fined for public nudity after a video surfaced of them exposing themselves to Chinese tourists.

 

Kanitsorn Toonjit, 31, Nopadol Jowan, 31, and Samthib Naimoo, 33, were brought in for questioning after the video went viral on social media.

 

They claimed the video was not new, that it was taken in 2014 when they were paid 4,000 baht each to perform in a private room for 10 Chinese tourists.

 

They said they were approached on Walking Street by a transgender tour guide for a group of Chinese tourists, who invited them to a party. They said they asked the tourists not to take any photos or video when asked to give them a ‘better look’, but got caught up in the moment when the Chinese were giving them 500 Yuan tips (about 2500 Thai baht).

 

The three were charged 5,000 baht each and apologized to the public for their behavior.
