This was an actual news article f rom about 2 years ago:

It's well known that most married couples have very different attitudes toward shopping. Women usually crave it, and men put up with it - to the annoyance of the woman. To help smooth out the the differences, a German shopping mall came up with a unique concept (Could it also be done here in Thailand?!). The couple goes to the mall, he goes to a lounge where he's first given a name tag to wear - his first name only. He can sip beer, read the newspaper or watch a sports thing on TV over in the corner. It's got frauline waitresses and over-stuffed chairs. The wife, of course, goes merrily off shopping. When she's done, she comes to the doorway and tells the doorkeeper her husband's first name. He makes the announcement and the content couple waddles on home.

Here's a twist on the proceedings that wasn't mentioned in the news article. What if she came to the lounge after finishing the shopping and, after spryly sizing up the men and with a keen eye, announcing a more attractive man's name to the doorman. Would that new guy dutifully respond to his name and stay mum to the ruse? [Oh, if such things were only that simple.]
