Sanook reported that the man who shot his pregnant wife and father in law in a waiting room at the Nakorn Pathom hospital has died.

Deputy director Dr Sunai Janchai said that medics had tried to save the life of Chaiyaporn but he died Sunday morning following brain surgery.

He had turned the gun on himself after shooting his wife Thanyamas and her father Samphan. His wife died first followed by her father.

It was earlier reported that he was aggrieved that he had not been informed of his wife's pregnancy.

He was said to have been armed with a .357 revolved when he went into the hospital around 1.30 pm Friday.

Should have just shot himself first, thereby saving the lives of the others, and removing a piece of scum in the process.

Let's hope the relatives nudged the surgeon !

He shot the unfortunate victims because he wasn't informed that his wife was pregnant?????? I'm surprised he had enough brain to operate on.

RIP the victims.

Good riddance to him but you have to have sympathy for his family

Agreed, certainly wouldn't like to have that on my concious if I were the parent of a double murderer.

Now waiting for all the negative comments.

Thought it was a mass shooting reading the headline

Maybe him and his wife had not had a sex for a while so there was more to it than just he wasn't told she was expecting a baby.

No excuses though in any way, shape or form, clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right.

Presumably they found a brain to operate on. What a sad ending for the families involved.

Lack of emotion control seems to be an unfortunate characteristic of Thai culture, particularly for men but some women also cannot be excluded.

Well you are making excuses. You are saying that if she had sex with another man and got pregnant, she basically deserved it.

It might surprise you to know that women whether married, in a relationship, engaged or betrothed, are free to sex anyone anytime that they like. If the man doesn't like it, he can get a new one too.

Times have changed fredrich.

Have the Thai people forsaken Buddha? So sad. Perhaps the consumer society has destroyed the fine fragile fabric of Buddhism.

Quite agree but as you can see it can have its consequences and does not always end with  "everybody lived happily ever after"

Off topic posts have been removed.

From what my wife read on a Thai news site it was about money . He was not rich enough for her father.

What's the point in getting married then?

If you and your 'partner' are free to 'sex' anyone anytime what would be the point in living together?

You could accept the situation where you have arranged to go out together with friends and during the evening your partner gets a call and says 'I'm just going out for a couple of hours to xxxx john/bill/allan or whoever.'

What a strange lifestyle.

After decades of forced smiling, when they finally lose it.... oh man do they lose it.

If its any consolation to you I do agree with you

I am on my third so have first hand experience of rejection murder only fleetingly crossed my mind

The easily availability of guns in Thailand is a huge problem.

And no, giving all ‘good guys’ guns to stop them is NOT the answer.

Perhaps a better question is have they ever had Buddhism?

Be better if guns were never invented. That guy has a lot to answer for.

Same motor vehicles /bikes, thousands killed every year, maybe it would have been better if they weren't invented.

They serve a useful purpose. You don't need a gun.

You are so far off with that comment it is ridiculous.

He died whilst the brain surgeons were looking for a brain.
