Eleven tourists and two crew were plucked from the water after their boat hit rocks near Koh Talu in Chumporn.

The party had been on a snorkeling trip when the captain hit submerged rocks. He called for help as his boat - the Pornwaree - started taking on water.

Soon all 13 aboard, including a helper, donned life jackets and jumped into the Gulf.

But all were rescued successfully by the coastguard who arrived with a speedboat and other vessels.

The tourists had been visiting the Koh Ngam and Koh Talu area and were on their way back to harbor on Sunday afternoon when the accident occurred.

If life gets boring- risk it, became a Thailand tourist.

I fear this happening everything I get on a over crowded boat, no matter what size and speed, it’s always a trip into the unknown whilst taking a bit in Thailand ?

Captain, you may want to take a course in chart reading before skippering your next vessel. At least you never killed anyone.

So a bunch of people on a snorkeling trip ended up in the water?

"I fear this happening everything I get on a over crowded boat"

No one to blame but yourself if you knowingly get on an overcrowded boat.
