Wrongfully Blacklisted - What Can I Do to Remove My Name

Recommended Posts

It is not uncommon. I took a group of Burmese passport holders to the UK. Even with a visa he got taken away for a while because his name matched the name of a sanctioned individual. He told us it happened to him before. Birthdate was different. Nothing else matched.

I'm surprised that immigration cannot put a note into their systems against your passport. Perhaps they aren't that sophisticated.

Sifts of potential undesirable aliens based solely on last names and DOB's certainly don't strike me as ultra-sophisticated. It is to be hoped for the sake of the OP and his like that, some time during the few billion years that are left before this great planet of ours is swallowed up by the Sun, Immigration will introduce a sift system also encompassing first names, nationalities and places of birth (all standard passport info).?
