Unauthorized documentaries are written and filmed and set to stage plays all the time.

Worst they could do is charge the producers with Defamation or “violation of the computer crimes act”. Applicable in Thailand only of course, and ban it from being shown, in Thailand.

Surely this whole

ludicrous saga with the film rights and protecting the boys is only about one thing: saving face because the locals were completely clueless and the kids would still be in there if it wasn’t for foreigners.

 

Correct me if I am wrong.
