OK, so what are you and your watch wearing mates doing to rectify the problems of the past governments?

So Prayut says the people are responsible for who comes to power !! Is he for real? He and his cronies used the army (with bloody big guns ) to seize power illegally.

  • But the people haven't chosen anyone since May 2014.   Previously, the people selected the same guy twice before the army stepped in and buggered any chance of the people getting on any sort

How can people follow this guy ?  Blaming others this late into his time of taking power.  He is just so pathetic.

When all else fails, blame the other guy. Heh, that western clown does it several times everyday.

And the lyrics of his next popular tune will start with:

"Blame another one, just like the other one"

You've been in long enough now that it's all on you.

So, what exactly have you been doing for the last four years, Mr P?

I will answer your question, he has spent the last 4 years topping up his and his cronies pension funds.

Thailand had more coups since end of ww2  than any other country in the world, that said ! unelected military government mostly at fault they have been in charge , elected governments nic noi..

I've started writing a book.

Chapter One:

It's all my fault admitted the Thai politician. I accepted complete responsibility and will resign, forfeiting my pension rights, of course.

It's going to be my first science fiction novel.

From where I sat it looked like money selected the previous leaders and promises to all !
They were elected in free and fair elections. The current ones forced themselves via their guns. And are currently throwing money away like there is no tomorrow in a vain attempt to legitimize their tenure....

people shouldn’t just think about democracy or politics but choosing responsible leaders and eradicating corruption.

Hmm. Well, having the choice helps. No choice, and what do they get?

Dunno about free. No doubt all participants threw money around with abandon.

It seems he is insinuating the the people are stupid, and can't pick good leaders.  I guess he knows best ?

Well said...... was inclined to suggest similar, but you beat me to it!

Are y'all aware that Barack Obama did the same for his first 4 - 6 years in office. Politician's love to blame the other guy

So the fact that economy is washing down the drain under current leadership is not actually the fault of current leadership but the previous one.

and having wasted all money on submarines which no one knows how to operate or maintain is also the fault of previous govs.

all makes perfect sense why country is slowly moving down the toilet drain with new laws and regulations

Obama did it for 4-6 years, including it in almost every speech his first 2 years in office.

There is plenty of blame to go around but the majority of the damage that the junta has caused will probably not come to light until after they are gone. And it could be substantial.

So to sum up,  in a nutshell,  the general opinion of the TVF netizens is in the negative.

Or to paraphrase Westminster.... The big Noses have it.

So .....somewhere in deepest and darkest northeast  , upended oil drums are being stood on end just below the surface of  the local bung so that Prayuth can do a bit of walking on water before returning to Bangkok.

Might fool some of the people. The same people it fooled for Bangkok shutdown.

blame it on past admins.  ( platform to run for office on)   while new admin.  is in they  create problems for  the next admin.      thats  how systems work

Sure. The point cannot be more clear, one set of participants actually obtained a mandate, the other set didn't. And yes free and fair elections, according to independent international observers, you know the kind the junta doesn't like.

Stop defending the indefensible

How many years have you had to fix it? At least the people got the chance to choose someone else every four years, will you give them that choice?

List this administrations achievements and let the people decide, much talk and little action is the reality, you had your chance and you blew it.
