Yes but on the form above I don't see that option...maybe like the Pattaya COR they don't actually specify what the certificate is for on the actual certificate just confirms the address...kinda makes me wonder why they ask in the dirst place ? -

Location dependent ... Udon Thani, easily 4 months (A. Muang). Many areas in North (CM) and Bangkok may start as early as Nov and last till the rains in May arrive. We get about 2 months down here at Muang PKK, and Hua Hin, easily 4 months. -

How often do you get your ACs cleaned?
When I said top up the gas I should have said check the gas pressure... Basically the seem to attach a tank with a pressure guage to the compressor unit... I assume this is a standard procedure and if they find it low I assume they add more gas... They have never said it was low or charged me extra for the procedure... -

I have also been to Pattaya many times and never went to a bar (I don't drink) or had sex with a dirty prostitute. But I am not the guy who likes slippy thousands. -

Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system
On the 15th of September i tried the online 90 day report for the first time. I received back an email confirming Thai immigration had received my notice of staying longer than 90 days on the 15th of September. On the 16th of September I received a second e mail with a notice of rejection. The reason was that my TM 30 was last registered in Bangkok and not Chiang Mai. I have not travelled from my present address for 4 years . On the 17th I went to Chiang Mai Immigration office and the notification went through no problem . I never mentioned the rejection made online . -

I can agree with much of what you have written but it is still a business, a job that many do well, they are fun and fun loving and although partying in a good bar is better than working in the fields and brings in more money it can take its toll. I was never one to dip my toe deeply into the sex scene through fear of aids at that time although I had my moments but I enjoyed the bar life in Chiang Mai and struck up a few friendships with bar girls which I considered genuine because I wanted no sexual favours from them. One instance caught my attention when I met a newbie with a college education one year (before I lived here permanently), she was a lovely person. When I returned the next year I met her again at the same bar and bought her a meal and thought we could continue our chatty relationship, we could but I found she had changed considerably, she had become as hard as nails, bitter and disappointed with life, she had paid off her education debt but couldn't find a job matching her credentials and had resigned herself to being an อีตัว or slut, in her own words. Many regard the bar life as temporary, meeting Mr right perhaps, but that happens rarely and before they know it they are 35 and going downhill. They play their part well but rarely do they have any respect for their punters.
