The lady said that her own son had beaten her with a stick. She could barely see out of one eye so badly was she attacked. The poster Thanyarat Jaitham came across the old lady as she was walking out of a soi near the army camp of Sutham Phitak in Nakorn Ratchasima. The old lady wanted to get to see her relatives. The poster was horrified that anyone could do this to their mother. Sanook reported that the lady is now in hospital after she was helped in contacting her relatives. Meanwhile cannabis is still illegal and treated like ya ba from a criminal standpoint, yet is almost never the source of the problems associated with alcohol and other drugs.
