The other 27 countries of the EU had a vote. The majority chose to treat the UK like any other 3rd country after we leave, what is crooked about that?
Popular Post rixalex
As I, and others, have said before; there is no onus on the EU to offer us anything. If we had said "Give us what we want or it's no deal" they would have said "OK, no deal it is, then!" We chose to leave the EU, they don't have to offer us anything at all. It seems to me that, like most Brexiteers, you believed that we could have maintained all the advantages of EU membership and simply ditched the bits we don't like. That simply was never going to happen, and those who believed it would fell for Leave's big lie.Complete misrepresentation of my view. Frankly i'm tired of explaining what my position is. Thanks Brexiters! The EU does not want to compensate the UK for any money it invested into the EEC/EU over the last 45 years that still exists as tangible assets, like buildings and quite a bit of wine I wouldn't mind having a go at etc. This could have been fairly handled as a lump sum discount from the final divorce bill but the EU Commission does not play fair does it? So there's no chance of that happening. Regarding Galileo, I thought this was interesting: https://www.ft.com/content/a3eb07ac-3278-11e8-ac48-10c6fdc22f03 If they kick us out of this then I hope their satellites all collide simultaneously and blow up in one big bang!
