Webshops (English) with Free Shipping?

Featured Replies

Hi,

What companies/websites in Thailand are in the lower end of the price range and offer free shipping? Couldn't find what I needed in Lazada ?

Thanks! ?

AliExpress.com  has free shipping on most items and has quite a big range of products, shipping can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 or 4 weeks but it is ok

What do you look for?

Thai based in English language is indeed rare.

In case someone missed it, as of lately shipment on Lazada is NOT free anymore

Nonsense to say it plain.

Many products ON Lazada have free shipping.

Depends on supplier, value and method of shipping.

Just an arbitrary example:

during next week I will order dog food, 20 kg bag, delivered free to the door.

(739 Baht compared to Makro 859, Lotus 890)

https://www.lazada.co.th/products/alpo-adult-beef-liver-and-vegetable-20-kg-i160571986-s193376449.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlistcategory.list.3.1a146eadAc9mOd&search=1

I just wanted to make clear that your general statement is indeed over the top.

I revoke the "nonsense".

Your example shows a shipment from overseas.

Might be that no shipment from overseas is free (not checked). I have never ordered from overseas.

Ordered many things from overseas in the past, and always free shipping if over 99 Baht.

I started to see this last week on many items, where I never noticed this in the past

And  now I wait for the topic starter to come back and state what he is looking for.

Must be very special if not found on Lazada.

The Thai webshops in English that I know supply trivial stuff (electronics, mobiles etc. pp.).

There is no such thing as free shipping!

Shipping might be included in the price or it is shown extra but it always cost money.

So if you buy two small items (which fit in one bag) for which the price was calculated including shipping you pay already more than you should.

Thanks for all the answers.

Of course there's a thing such as "Free Shipping". A bunch of companies run a deficit because of the shipping cost, and if you care to listen to any of the investor calls the management sometimes outrightly says that they need to subsidize shipping because of competition.

A random example from a Chines online shop with "free" shipping.

They offer an Arduino Nano compatible

1: 4.64USD

3: 12.63USD

5: 20.61USD

I let you work out the math and the cost for the shipping.

And what are you trying to prove with that? That the price per piece goes down if you buy 3 or 5 instead of only 1? You do know that it´s usually cheaper per ml to buy a big bottle of schampoo than a small one, right? What you just stated has nothing to do with cost of shipping. There is something that is called free shipping and that is something that the companies today use as a weapon to compete for the customers.
