i want to buy exchange some cash for bank cheques (for monks to use rather than carrying cash). Each bank has different costs/commissions. does anyone know the best value bank for this type of product/service?

the amounts are small say 1000 to 3000 baht. but there may be quite a few cheques to purchase now and in the future.

while the cost is minimal (10-30 baht) there is still a wide variation between banks. is there a website that compares such products? Or does someone have personal knowledge of this?

thanks in advance

Ask for a Cashier's Cheque. I believe I have paid B 20 for these. If you do not get them "crossed", they are negotiable (can be used as if they are cash.)

Why not go to Google and check with several of the larger banks ... like this site for Kasikorn.

https://www.kasikornbank.com/en/personal/services/cheque

For example, they offer "gift cheques"

Seems complicated to me.
Why not simply donate a large sum every now and then to the local Temple's bank account.
Then you would not be carrying sums of cash that you are not comfortable with?
