You will one day, but it will be electric, and it will probably be a fleet vehicle to start like a taxi or delivery truck, or a bus perhaps.   In one day in Shenzhen, you see more electric cars there than in Europe in a year.   

 

How many less expensive European cars are popular outside of Europe ?  I think only Volkswagon is the only serious worldwide competitor.

China buys carbrands like Volvo so yes that way they should be in Europe one day but still engineered by farang.

The Chinese cars didn't pass the high European securitytests that's why they are not there.

 

Yes i would like to visit Shenzen but it's very messy there i heard, my wife goes there sometimes for work.

Well, those are luxury cars.  Most luxury cars are European outside of Europe with the Volkswagon being the only stand out.   Chinese cars cannot compete with Japanese or Volkswagon, as others cannot either.  

 

The world's largest car market is China, so why would they even bother exporting when they cannot even satisfy their home market ?  

 

Very messy ?   Not sure what that means.  There is ample rapid transport unlike Bangkok.  Average food prices are the same if now lower, except for alcohol, which is much much cheaper in China.   A Thai woman I know in the Banking industry works in Shenzhen for Thai Banks.   She wishes Bangkok was as modern.

At one time,  all the taxi's in Shenzhen were either Citreon or Volkswagon.  The Citreons were especially good looking, but they are gone.  So why can't Europeans compete in the non luxury car market, given their vast superior quality?  

 

The BYD electric taxis are modern, comfortable and fast.   China has more experience and market data than any other country on earth when it comes to electric cars.  It is only a matter of time before the world will be inundated with Chinese electric cars.   BYD started off exploiting the same technical gains as Tesla.   Does Europe have cars that compete with Teslas ?  In Hong Kong,which was dominated by European luxury cars, Teslas are a very common sight.  If I was European car manufacturer, I would be worried.   I am thinking, why would by a European gas guzzler when I can by a BYD or Tesla?

The other day in the local mechanics, watching a lad repeatedly beating a valve into a head with a lump hammer, i’ve seen it many times before, I think it’s their way of reseating the valve, (should be carefully ground in with grinding paste I think).... it’s what they’re taught to do by useless, incompetent stubborn lazy instructors.... job f****ed.

I actually had a guy install some security grills over the windows of my house.

Well ! he half done the job, because when I saw him trying to beat 10 MM Diameter expanding bolts into the wall that were to secure the grills in place without first drilling a hole, I told him to Eff Off and refused  pay him due to all the repairs to the inner walls that had to be made.

Another very highly skilled Thai , taught by an expert.

And yes, as a Mechanical Engineer, I can tell you that valves have to be lapped in using Carborundum Paste.
