Extending an extension?

Having a bit of difficulty right now, I am on a tourist visa, followed by a visa exempt land entry, followed by an extension. I am supposed to leave by tomorrow, but it would be an inconvenient time to go to Laos, requiring spending a full weekend there before submitting passport off at embassy.

 

After extending 30 days, is it fine / not an issue to extend 7 days for 1900 further? I have heard its not an extension but a denial of one and a grace period to leave. IF this has any negative connotations, id rather just leave tomorrow, but it would be rather inconvenient.

 

Is it an issue to do a +7 day extension after +30 days?

You could apply for an extension, pay 1900 baht and be granted to 7 days to leave the country after it is denied.

It is commonly done and will not affect anything you want to do in the future.
