Following the incident over the weekend where a 70 foot charter yacht from Tiger Marine ended up stranded off Koh Phi, necessitating the Spanish tourists to swim over to another vessel to be taken back to shore, Tiger Marine have contacted The Thaiger (no connection) and asked us to post their response.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Commission opened a formal investigation on Tuesday into whether German carmakers BMW, Daimler and VW Group <VOWG_p.DE> had colluded to avoid competition in developing clean emission technology.

Satun police seize 280 kilos of ‘ice’ from abandoned pickup

A huge haul of 280 kilograms of crystal meth, commonly known on the streets as “ice”, was found hidden in a pickup truck that was spotted abandoned in an oil palm plantation in Satun’s Manang district on Monday.

New measures needed to protect users from mislabelled cosmetics, research finds
