Best smartphone app for flight fare finding

Featured Replies

I still use ita matrix program on the laptop for a quick check on flight availability and costs and until it was discontinued, it was my go-to flight and fare finder app on the smartphone as well,. Now that the smartphone app is gone, I am looking for good alternative that searches flights ONLY. A few that I have looked at are the whole flight/hotel/rental car enchilada's which ask for too much input albeit clicking multiple 'No Thanks' buttons.

Just a simple, flight-only fare finder that trawls the airline databases, gives me prices and options and a link to where to get the ticket.

Thanks!

Thanks. I haven't looked at kayak in ages since it first came out as an airline-only search. Looks like it has the hotel and car rental encumbrances though.

The matrix app used to search all databases so no need to browse domestic separately although sometimes I would when known BKK flight connections didn't come up in the search.

I will try Flight Ticket app which at first glance also includes the LCC's like AirAsia, Nok and Lion that matrix didn't and doesn't have hotel and car rental add-ons either.
