February 10, 200719 yr When you uninstall the AV nothing is released into your system. I can highly recommend the nod32 as I use it on several machines and in the past seven years it has never missed a virus in the wild. No other AV can say that.
February 11, 200719 yr I used to be a proud user of Noron Symantec anti-virus, but it's become very memory hungry and misses a lot of viruses - largely due to their weekly update. I use NOD32 on work machines and Kaspersky on my laptops. Both are excellent as they seem to update their virus signatures hourly. Peter
