Location of lawyer on Nern Plubwan?

Some time ago someone mentioned a female lawyer on Nern Plubwan, but I'm unable to locate the post. I just need a simple will drawn up, two bank accounts and instructions re cremation, only one beneficiary for the bank accounts. Can the beneficiary also be an executor? A price of around 8000 baht was mentioned, which is much as it should cost for something so simple. Anyone remember the lawyers name and location?

I think i know the person but i don't think it can be for 8000 baht as it's involve going to the court house several times, dealing with the banks, funeral arrangement where necessary, newspapers advertising and more work, also it's depend on the amount and size of the monies, properties and chattels that need to be disbursed to the beneficiaries...

most lawyers will charge up to 50,000 baht this lady lawley will do it for less. PM me if you need the contact number...

Agree with you that 8000 should be a maximum but as most of them are scammers and deal with idiot foreigners ready to pay anything asked... we cannot be sure !

Yes,  the executor can be an heir, they just cannot be a witness to the Last Will and Testament

If you pay more than 5,000 THB you are getting cheated.  You can do it yourself and have it recorded (but not stored) at Bamlamung Amphur for a couple of hundred Baht

One caveat in using a Thai lawyer:  do not allow them to keep the original despite their insistence.  Give the original to the executor / beneficiary and let the lawyer keep a copy, since eventually the Will will  have to be probated in a Thai Court and that you cannot DYI

Ezzra seems to mix it up with the probate. Poster writes about a simple Will. Should and can be from 5-20K, depending on what is involved. Yes beneficiary can be executor/administrator. Would never make the lawyer executor, but somebody you know and trust, he can always hire a lawyer for support with legal process.
