I am thinking of selling my 7 years old condo.

I have three questions to ask.

1. After selling my condo, can I send the money back to my home country.

If so, can I send home the original price when I first bought ?

Or the present price which will be much higher than the first original price ?

2. Can I use the selling price to buy a new condo, without having to send the

money from my home country ?

3. Can I use the money after I sold my condo to put it into a Thai Bank to gain

   interest ?

Your kind advice is much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.

A 1  Yes you can repatriate your money -however only if the condo is in a foreigner's name. If it is in a company -then no .

. The actual  price achieved is the only price that counts

The Land office will give you supporting documents to present to your bank.

2 You will have to send out and return. Given that you have the money -then the bank manager may assist you to find a simpler and cheaper method

3 It's your money -do what's best.

Thai officials prefer that you keep the money in Thailand. It is up to you what you actually do with it.
