Popular Post sammieuk1
Must be very difficult for the police to find where the racing and normal riding begins its all just a blur ???? 1

nausea
Waste of time; it's a generational thing. One generation replaces the other. Like, you're gonna legislate against young men being risk takers, or women hanging on their coattails - which is what it's all about anyway. Clamp down on road racing and you're gonna get something even more stupid taking its place.

Popular Post Ulic
They need to run youth events in Buri Ram in conjunction with the GP race. Four events a year would be even better. Age groups, levels of ability, bike size. Give them somewhere to blow off some steam.

Four events a year would be even better. Age groups, levels of ability, bike size. Give them somewhere to blow off some steam. Where would they practice for these events? I suspect this would encourage greater numbers of illegal road racing. I agree, youngsters need to let off steam but racing their bikes on streets has to be dealt with. Taking a hard line stance against those who place others in mortal danger must take priority. As far as letting off steam... play football, sapaik-takkaw,... but that would be boring for it is the gang attraction and illegality which makes road racing exciting - it would be difficult to find a viable alternative and much like the street racing in the UK the youths would be one step ahead and become more and more sophisticated in their avoidance of the law.... in a country with very little effective law enforcement these kids simply have run of the roost come night time.... These clamp downs may temporarily limit these races but there will be little long term effect until penalties are more severe such as confiscating these bikes... then of course, these same youths would have nothing to do and probably end up fighting, robbing houses etc... so, perhaps it is best to just play the game, let the get on with it while thinking they are outsmarting the police... Pedrogaz
Look I am glad that these guys have been arrested.....but what is the penalty for driving a bike with no effective exhaust, breaking the speed limit and driving without a licence? Can't the police impound their bikes and get them off the road. Personally I know of only one kid who has been arrested for not having a proper exhaust. He had no licence as he is underage. He had no money so wasn't fined but the cop told him to come to the station within one month to show he had fitted a proper exhaust. Naturally he didn't go as he didn't fit a legal exhaust. Execution is too good for these kids so impound their bikes to get their attention....charge 50,000 to get the impounded bike back, so it hurts the stupid parents as well. Ratt Thai
On 10/6/2018 at 1:55 PM, Henrik Andersen said: Crush their bikes please and big fine For any modification in any vehicle, including excess smoke,.... make the fine 5 times the price of the cost to make the vehicle returned in original proper condition... In any case the vehicle is to be considered "not road wordy" and to be towed... If lights or any other simple defects are present, then let them repair before continuing, simple fine or not even fine if they can repair themselves ( spare light bulbs present ) fine to be paid before the towing... Vehicle needs to be represented with technical check up proof, If failed to comply within certain time frame, double the fine and destruct the vehicle in question... Black smoke bye bye, loud noise bye bye...

Galactus
sure were they racing? or just riding? common misconception is: if two guys ride their bike together, they are racing!!! which is not correct! 45 big bikes seized? wow! wonder what happens if you accidentally pass from the road these guys are riding? will they arrest you and confiscate your bike too?
