PHUKET: MaAnn Samran, chief of the Cherng Talay Tambon Administration Organisation (OrBorTor), has assured Phuket Governor Phakaphong Tavipatana that he will carry out Supreme Court evictions on 178 rai of beachfront land at Layan and Leypang beaches, on Phuket’s west coast.

“The dismantling of structures along Layan and Leypang beaches is on hold because five new people filed their appeals to the Court of Appeals claiming to own the land. The Court of Appeals dismissed these claims last month,” Mr MaAnn said.

“Next I will send a letter to Phuket Legal Execution Department (PLED) to reclaim this land for the Government. The land will be public and beautiful,” he added.

Last report mentioned 'on here' at the time Surin was bull dosed by the Navy (which absolutely improved Surins position on the worlds fav tourists spots list) Paradise had an order to  remove all illegal building (they had just put up the new frontage and laid car parks) there was then some sort of appeal 'process' in play 555. Then strangely for thailand things all went quiet....

Well, Err, not quite..;

the weekly firework displays and full moon parties started a month or two later and thats about that, you cant keep a good business down seemingly and all is fine & dandy in Patong as usual...

Oh just the little hiccup with Chinese Live Sex shows but that was a 'communication ploblem!
