Old Money May Talk, But New Money Flies

Ever wished it was as easy to make international transfers as it is to make bank-to-bank payments here in Thailand?

Well, that future has arrived. With the DeeMoney mobile application, you can send money from your phone anywhere, anytime. Placing digital remittance transfer control back in your hands where it should be. Outside of the simple one-time registration process, there are no forms to fill in to send money to an international account - which anyone who banks in Thailand knows isn’t possible as an expat with most Thai banks.

Dee money has positioned itself to cut through the industry-wide restrictions and regulations that certain channels and services use to drive costs up for money transfers. DeeMoney received its License for International Money Remittance Service as a Non-Bank Entity from the Bank of Thailand in 2017.

A company of firsts in Thailand, DeeMoney was the first company to achieve the  International Money Remittance, Authorized Money Exchange License and E-Payment Service Licenses for the same premises. This means DeeMoney is in a unique position to offer money transfer and exchange services both digitally and at its signature outlets across Bangkok.

With DeeMoney, you can send a digital transfer in just 5 easy steps.

1- Register at a DeeMoney branch with just one form of valid identification (passport, ID, driving license, etc.).

2- Download the DeeMoney mobile application from the iTunes store or on Android.

3- Open the DeeMoney app, select a language, and log-in with your DeeMoney Membership number by QR code.

4- To make a transfer, first specify your recipient details and then confirm the amount you want to send. To complete the transaction, you can choose from three different methods:

  • 1) Connect the DeeMoney App with your local SCB, BBL or KBank account via ATM (for more details, click here).
  • 2) Choose KPlus as your payment method, and use the KBank mobile app to complete the payment.
  • 3) Generate a QR Code within the DeeMoney app, and then open it up in your local m-banking app to complete the payment.
  • 5- Choose from over 17 countries and send the funds to your chosen recipient for just 150 THB.

It really is that simple. DeeMoney believes in complete transparency. With the app, you can check out current transfer rates in real-time. The calculator shows you EXACTLY how much the receiving party will gain in their local currency. And unlike banks, there is no extra fee charged to the recipient for them to access the funds. The 150 THB flat-fee paid at DeeMoney is ALL INCLUSIVE, with no further surprise fees or deductions. There are no surprise exchange fluctuations or hidden charges.

As well as no price pitfalls lying mid-transfer unsuspectingly, your recipient can credit their own account immediately or choose to get an instant cash payout with the DeeMoney cash out code—depending on the recipient country.

With digital nomadcy on the rise, international remittance is becoming an increasing part of many peoples’ routine financial operations. Expats living all over the world wish to send funds across the waters for global services, bill payments or simply to their loved ones back home. However, the constrictions placed on making transfers by banking channels and high-cost money exchange providers are stifling such transactions.

Technology is changing the landscape of how individuals function today. We can scope out real estate from the other side of the globe, purchase unique goods from never-before-heard-of locations, and communicate with our nearest and dearest face-to-face despite remote distances. Sending money across borders though still remains a time-consuming and expensive service—depending on your service operator.

But no more. To learn more about what payment mode your country of transfer supports, click here. No five-working days delay, no expensive exchange rates, and just one transparent fee of 150 THB every time. So, what are you waiting for? Join the 5000+ customers who are already taking advantage of DeeMoney’s 150 THB flat fee—rather than paying out 1300 THB with your bank every time. Instead, let your money fly with the DeeMoney app.

Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry.  Yes, we are absolutely licensed and authorized by the Bank of Thailand.  Regarding fees - we charge a single flat fee of 150baht for transfers to 16 countries that include UK, US, AUS, NZ and more.  This fee includes both sender and receiver transfer fees, so there are no further surprise charges or deductions at any point.

Have a great day!

Damn that's a money maker , 150baht per transfer + the exchanche rate . But anywho ,it makes things easier for a lot of people so smart move DeeMoney.

Hi there!

Actually, this is a money-saver... Instead of paying anywhere from 500 to 1300 THB plus high exchange rates with the other remittance-service providers and banks, DeeMoney offers greater savings with a 150baht FLAT Fee for all transfer amounts up to 800,000 baht and lower exchange rates.  Definitely a better choice ????

And yes, we strive to ensure that our service is not only more affordable, but more convenient and easier - definitely a win-win for all!

Wishing you a wonderful day!
