Man wanted over Bangkok shootout that killed Indian tourist surrenders

ONE OF the young men allegedly involved in a Sunday shootout that killed an Indian tourist and injured four people in Bangkok has surrendered, while police are now seeking arrest warrants for nearly 20 suspects, national police deputy chief Pol General Chalermkiat Srivorakan said on Tuesday.

Three-quarters of Bangkok residents are in debt, says survey

ABOUT 77.5 per cent of Bangkok residents are in debt and 53 per cent admit to have fallen behind in repayments, a survey by Bansomdej Poll in collaboration with the Foundation for Consumers (FFC)’s Chaladsue (Smart Buyer) magazine reveals.

Alphabet to shut Google+ social site after user data exposed

Coconut imports fall 27% over first 8 months of 2018

BANGKOK, 10th October 2018 (NNT) - The Ministry of Commerce has revealed that coconut imports over the first eight months of the year have fallen 27% on the same period last year. It therefore suspects that a recent price slump was caused by overproduction and smuggling.
