'Electric shock' feeling through hand during high intensity exercise

Featured Replies

I've come across a strange pain / feeling during sports over the past year.... it is an 'electric shock' type feeling through my right hand and fingers.

It happens when I make a sudden sprint or movement at high intensity when playing football or badminton... or when jerking the bar upwards when doing romanian deadlifts.

Anyone know what this could be? It isn't pleasant, nor ideal, as sometimes I am hesitant to make sudden, high intensity movements when playing sports.

Cheers

Its most likely a pinched nerve, I dont know your age but it can happen with both younger and older people.  Take a long break from the type of exercises you do so your body have time to heal. If not it could get worse.
