rooster59 Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 Big Joke announces arrest of Korean fraudster who was "a danger to Thailand" Image: IB website Immigration police led by Maj-Gen Surachate Hakpan announced the arrest of a South Korean criminal fraudster wanted on four warrants in his home country. Jin Weon Seo, 60, had entered Thailand illegally across a "natural border", reported the Immigration Bureau website. He is wanted for fraud in South Korea totaling 132 million won (4.5 million baht). Maj-Gen Surachate said that Jin did not give up his cons while in Thailand. He said that Jin had perpetrated a string of frauds related to the buying and selling of hotels and golf courses in Bangkok, Chonburi and Phuket. He was arrested at the Rider Resort in Sri Nakharin Soi 49 in Prawet district on Wednesday. The report on the IB website described the suspect as a real danger to Thailand.
