KANCHANABURI, 8 November 2018 (NNT) – Thailand's Prime Minister has promised citizens in Kanchanaburi full care and support to grow income opportunities.

Yesterday (November 7), Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha traveled to Kanchanaburi, paying his respects to the provincial shrine and a monument to King Rama 3 upon arrival before being welcomed by over 1,000 students from local schools who presented him with a green ribbon denoting the province’s green status. The students affirmed their desire for Kanchanaburi to have a paper factory and sang a song of support for the PM.

Gen Prayut rode a rail car to view the province’s ancient wall and sat in on a war drum performance held at the provincial cultural atrium. Meeting citizens at the new paper factory, the premier promised full care and further income opportunities for all.

Continuing in the rail car, the PM visited the Pak Praek community and paid respects to an image of the Supreme Patriarch before boarding a boat to inspect Kwae Yai, Kwae Noi and Mae Klong rivers, asking tourism operators along the waters to adhere to the law and care for the environment.

The Prime Minister also visited the 17th Army Circle to hand out quality validations to farmers from eight provinces of the lower central region and western region, kicking off the Green Army, Green Famer program. He remarked to the farmers that the modern market is focused on organic and safe crops, meaning they must adapt their growing methods and suggested that they take part in Pracharat efforts.

Capping off his visit, the PM planted a Yellow Star, viewed the Green Army, Green Farmer exhibition and tried his hand at planting a new strain of rice in the program’s demonstration field.

So what's he promising . . . to create jobs for these 'citizens'? If there were jobs available, surely these guys & gals would have the wherewithal to grab them, unless perhaps, he thinks they're too incapable . . . or too lazy.

This guy is just as low as it gets. Why does he always surround himself with young school girls or girl bands? The younger generation aint that stupid to fall for PR tactics.

Scumbag (unelected) PM......... He is fooling the poor and they might be falling for it.... He is definitely trying to set 'himself' up for a election 'WIN' by luring the masses of the 'Thai Poor' to think he cares about them........

As much as he hates Taksin...... He has learned and follows 'Thaksin' in trying to WIN the poor people, while knowing you can buy the most 'poor' Thai votes for less investment...... And you can promise them 'better times' that will never come to them, and THEY will believe you (as THEY remain un-educated as YOU have kept them)........ That was Thaksin's strategy...... You can buy the most votes from the 'POOR' for the least amount of money (and you can use Gov't money to buy them)...... I feel so much 'Pity' for Thailand's 'POOR' (mostly Issan)......

He 'Promises' ANYTHING that he thinks in his 'feeble' mind will help him continue his present GOOD LIFE.................

Great to see campaigning for the next election in full swing but can't understand why the other parties aren't getting their messages out.

Good question...oh...that's right. Strong armed....got it.

Students desire for a paper factory...to complement their Green status by cutting down all the trees. That makes total sense. Duh!

'PM promises...': hmm, so, he has really become a politician then, making promises he doesn't at all intend to keep!

Oh, but wait, he did that already when he was a general, didn't he? I do remember his 4+ years old 'changes and reforms' lullaby...

So, what's new? 'A leopard doesn't change his spots'.

The face! That face! 95% of the time I succeed avoiding it, but still... As fake as fake goes! Not a surprise though, considering the (lack of) quality of his (the NCPO and all the lil' green boys) communication, unchanged in 4 years, nobody must have told him (dared to?) it runs off of his picture...

That face, and my irritation, revulsion, as it looks as if that guy thinks, for real, that he is 'the one', that he is right and all others are wrong, ..., that he is loved by the people, and many other 'traits' one can too easily associate with dictators of the worst kind.

Has he lost his marbles, and become plain dangerous, I ask myself then...

I sincerely hope, for the Thais and Thailand, to be most totally wrong, but ...
