Popular Post Nyezhov
50 meters from my Building here in Thonburi is a set of food carts/stalls. One lady does Khao Man Gai, a dude does Fried Rice and Pad Krapow, then there is the Noodle Soup Lady, The Fruit Dude and the Gai Yang Couple, plus an occasional Meatball on a Stick family. There serve the condos in the area. Curious as to what the prices are in your area. Here it is: Khao Man Gai 40B Fried Rice or Pad Krapow 50B Bag of Fruit 20B Noodle Soup with all the Trimmings (meatballs, chicken etc) 40B Gai Yang (half of the chicken) with Rice 70B Som Tam Thai 30B Meatball sticks 10B. All is damn tasty too.

BoganInParasite
Thai wife and I have paid attention to busy local restaurants and frequent them. We have our combined lunch/dinner in them and generally pay 140-160 baht to eat well, drink water with ice and a tip. We are in Nan.

CLW
Prices sound reasonable / average for city area.Unless you are at a village market it should not be cheaper.Anyway, I avoid those meatballs in every dish. First of the soft bones (cartilage) that is sometimes inside and for that price God knows what kind of meat and how much meat percentage is inside.
