TNA reported the arrest of an administrator of Facebook and YouTube sites who police say encouraged people to race luxury cars on Bangkok's expressways.

Jirawat Jitimansajja, 23, had posted a video of cars on the Udon Ratthaya expressway out to Bang Pa-in.

The video showed two cars enter the fenced off road at the Chiang Rak toll booth.

Jirawat denied that he was promoting street racing.

But his tagline on "Life of Cars BKK" said otherwise, said police. It stated "Why men like to race their cars".

He was charged with encouraging racing and promoting illegal activity.

He did manage an apology to society.

Two men called Nattaphot who drove a Subaru and Natthaphon in a Honda were also arrested later.

Pol Col Nitithorn Jintakanon, acting commissioner of the traffic police, said that street racers could be jailed for three months and fined 2,000 to 10,000 baht.

No fines or jail terms have been reported yet in this series of cases.

Pol Col Nitithorn said that several parts of expressways in and around Bangkok were being used by people for races.

I own A corvette with 700 hp.If it was in Bangkok I seriously doubt i’d race it.

To many cars on the road. Here in the U.S. I don’t do much  spirited driving.A

reckless driving ticket would hurt.

Weren't you guy ever young? or so feeble you can't remember?

At 61 I am one of the most conservative driver you want to meet.

At 20 ? not so much,

I spend all my hard earned money on painting racing stripes, mag wheels, fat tires, and trying to get laid.

I always thought it was an offset stripe and a number 7 on the door that gave you the extra 10mph.

There are several videos online of thai host reviewing cars and driving over 200 km/hr. I wonder if they can be nailed. Heck the admin that got arrested drove a mclaren over 250km/hr in one of his videos.
