Popular Post snoop1130
The Final Footage Of Freddie Mercury Alive Is Chilling by Rachael Grealish It was 27-years-ago Freddie Mercury died due to complications with AIDS, but even just days before his death the former Queen front man was making music. In a BBC Four documentary it shows the final music video Queen made with Freddie for the aptly-named song 'These Are the Days of Our Lives' in which the late star was deathly ill. In the footage Freddie is seen behind the scenes of the video, practicing, directing, discussing and having a lot of make-up applied - it's obvious he's wearing foundation andconcealer to hide the illness that had taken over him and one eye is bloodshot. In the documentary Brian May said Freddie spent 'hours and hours and hours in make-up'. Popular Post nikmar
not a fan of Queen or Freddie but I was persuaded to go see them at Knebworth in 86 or thereabouts. Really glad i went as it was immense, he was a great showman.

Jingthing
Waiting to see the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen fans, was it a good movie? I'm not specifically a Queen fan but yes it was good as a movie. It's clear it wasn't intended to be a literal documentary though. Popular Post vogie
It would be difficult to think of a better front man.
Popular Post Geoffggi
In my mind Queen were a very talented & professional band with Freddie being the perfect front man performer, he really knew how to control a very large audience which is not an easy thing to do, the music world lost a superb inventive person and brought a much too early demise of a truly great band. 6

I wasn't a Queen-fan, when they were around, I am now – the movie is by the way amazingly great... I cannot link to the full 11 minutes long "Live vs. movie" video here, it says. watch if at Facebook, which can be done here: "Queen 1985 y Bohemian Rhapsody 2018".
khunken
IMHO the greatest rock/pop group and singer ever. Freddy was unlucky as it wasn't that long after he died that the anti-HIV drugs appeared that would have allowed him to live longer. Now for a repeat of Live Aid '85.

I have just watched the full clip there. Rami Malek and the other actors copied the Live Aid performance brilliantly. Only sorry that the film has not been shown in Ubon.

R123
Watched the movie at Siam Paragon. A terrific film with first rate music and super performances. Explains a lot about the life of Queen and Freddie Mercury. The picture and the star really do deserve Oscars!
Skeptic7
One of my all time fave bands. For all the Not Fans...highly recommend early Queen. Some real crankin' rock with stuff such as Flick Of The Wrist and Keep Yourself Alive, among others. Brian May is a great and very under appreciated guitarist.
