When you can apply in the main depends on immigration office. Regards question about obtaining 60 day extension from visa exempt .... Here is a cut and paste from ubonjoe "You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your child it you have not gotten one since your last entry to the country with a new visa. You can apply for the extension with any type of entry"
