Leaving Thailand 2024
I'm here now, but leaving in 2 weeks for 2 1/2 month, and then, staying another 1 1/2 month. Coming back In October and probably staying to March or so. We will see, and all depending on work to. Wife just delivered her spouse visa today, and that will take another 15 months or so. Just back from your neighborhood down to Ranong and back, and it was great. -

Trump’s Bold Proposal to End Gaza’s Cycle of Suffering
I am neither pro nor anti Trump. But certainly both for and against many of his proposals. But with the behaviour of a bull in a china shop, it remains to be seen what he achieves. My limited vision can discern only two interpretations of his recent proposal: 1. Trumpeted bombast intended to divert international odium from the self-discredited Netanyahou and his gang; or 2. The opening phase of an attempt to plug the holes in the U.S.'s subsiding "unsinkable aircraft-carrier" used to dominate the Middle East. If the latter, this could mark the termination of Trump's declared intention of avoiding armed conflict. At least long-term armed conflict of the kind that has cost the U.S. economy trillions with little or nothing to show for it, except the huge profits of the armaments companies and their major investors. Trump is no pacifist. The fact of the matter is that keeping Israel afloat in a hostile sea has been hugely expensive to America. It may or may not have been worth it in the past. That is a matter for debate. But it is increasingly an unproductive investment in a rapidly changing world. If the U.S. government wishes to share the approbrium with which Israel is now widely regarded, it is going the right way about this. Not merely by this recent declaration but by its unswerving supply of military hardware. Whatever may be the sentiments of many U.S. citizens towards Israel, Israel has never been a friend of U.S. citizens. The attack on the U.S.S. Liberty is but one example. It is ironic that the U.S. government, having turned the hitherto prosperous and peaceful Europe into a battleground, now tells European governments (led by nitwits) they must more than double their military budgets to meet the threat thus created. And begins withdrawing its own military support. When you count the cost, in both money, human lives, and human livelihoods, of the zionist settlement programme initiated by the Balfour Agreement, it becomes clear that the only realistic long-term solution is to resettle the zionists in other countries. Allowing Semites of whichever variety, Jews and Arabs, to cohabit peacefully as they did before the arrival of zionism. -
