PHUKET:-- Prapan Kanprasang, Chief of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Phuket office (DDPM-Phuket), has warned people to beware household fires after blazes broke out at two workers’ camps in Phuket this morning (Dec 6).

Man punished for blocking path of ambulance carrying patient

A 72-year-old man, who was caught on camera as the person behind the wheel of a sedan that blocked an ambulance’s path on Sukhumvit Road in Chon Buri’s Muang district, was fined Bt500 as he acknowledged the charge of driving in a manner of barring traffic, said Muang Chon Buri superintendent Pol Colonel Atinan Nuchanart on Thursday.

Inquiry launched after rescue of ailing dogs

DOZENS OF sick dogs were this week rescued from a breeding farm in Chiang Rai's Mae Sai district that allegedly kept them in poor living conditions and have been moved to Chiang Mai for medical treatment, Save The Elephants Foundation president Saengduan Chailert said on Thursday.
