Hmm... where could a U.S. president have sent the Marines in response to scores of police officers being injured in a riot, but didn't??? One episode comes to might right off the bat: Jan. 2021 Capitol attack: "Many people were injured, including 174 police officers. The military is wrestling with the consequences October 26, 2024 "Some one-third of the 200 active and retired military participants arrested for their role in the Capitol attack were Marines.
