Netizens throw a wobbly at wealthy welfare scrounging woman

Irate Thai netizens slammed a woman who appeared online boasting about how she uses a Thai welfare card intended for the poor.

The woman had a gold necklace and other expensive looking jewelry, money in her hand and was sitting in the driver's seat of a car.

Onliners said she was ripping off the state and depriving the needy.

Though some suggested it might be fake gold and a friend's car.

Some research was done suggesting that the welfare card was damaged but the woman really does have plenty of money to spare, reported Sanook.

Her story appeared on the online forum that translates to "We'll make you famous v.10".

If what she is saying is true?  You seem to know something we don't!  So tell us, what is she saying?

Some people have no problem with "ripping off the state". And as for the "friend's car"; sounds similar to borrowing watches from a (dead) friend. Like I said, "some people ........ "

I don't understand why she's boasting and bragging about being on social security... I always thought that would be something to be ashamed of and people would keep quiet about it. It's hardly anything to brag about.

What’s the problem?

She’s using deception, fraud, and theft to illegally enrich herself at the expense of the state. Is what she’s doing substantially different from what great patriots like the General, the Prince of Toads and their ‘associates’ are doing?

Absolutely nothing to worry about...it's all perfectly normal.

Where I come from, the government  and it's MPs are the worst when it comes to filling their pockets and ripping off their people.

I was intrigued by the queues at Krung Thai Bank ATMs over the weekend, it wasn't until Monday that I discovered what caused them. I have to say, there seemed to be some well dressed affluent looking characters in the queues, plenty of cars and pick ups parked adjacent too!
