My bet is on Flynn being exonerated in the end.

I think he may get something "in the end", in prison.

Maybe the next Republican president, ca. 2048 might give him a pardon.

  • I was wondering how the trumplestiltskins here would deal with what is easily the worst day ever for trump. Thanks for the effort...blame the judge, claim a "lack of the facts" and dredge up Benghazi.

  • Before the sentencing, Sullivan was being acclaimed by the right as an heroic defender of justice.  If you were getting your news from Fox you would have believed that it was a slam dunk that the judg

  • Ouch. That's bound to leave a mark.   Maybe trump, sarah sanders, giuliani should keep their traps shut?   Can't be good when the judge asks the prosecution if they considered tryi

For those that argue his public comments re:Mueller and his colluion investigation are biased, well you'll have to answer for

Muellers dream team of anti trumpers and hillary donors.

So more time for Flynn sentencing the better for Flynn.

sure. its also clear the judge asked Flynn 4 times if he wanted to withdraw the guilty plea as it makes no sense. Plus the last minute 302s, deleted fbi phones.

Then he goes on and yaps about treason, to which he clearly states he has no expertise in, misunderstood the dates, and apologies and kicks the can down the road.

something fishy either way you look at it.

My bet is on Flynn being exonerated in the end.

No treason charges.

Another flagrant example of motivated reasoning. He asked Flynn 4 times because Flynn's lawyers had claimed entrapment. The judge was doing his damnedest, as he should, to make sure that Flynn was not being pressure and accepted the guilty plea.

Maybe you should acquaint yourself with something called Occam's razor. Basically it says the simplest explanation is the best.

The ethics officials concluded there was no actual legal conflict presented that would require Whitaker to recuse himself.

we will see in time. seems most people are perplexed accept ofcourse the msm cabal and its uncritical followers.

maybe the judge did not want to get played by mueller? why the need to give flynn zero jail time?

Do you understand that the judge read the redacted portions. So he has a much clearer idea of what Flynn is said to have done? Why if he did not want to get played by Mueller did he direct such harsh language at Flynn? Your reasoning is typical of Huberism.

the harsh treason comments were goofy based on getting the dates wrong. retracted with apology.

Mueller would know more than the judge if he had a treason case but Mueller wanted let him slide easy because? such a nice guy?

this whole thing was fishy from the get go.

Once again, you make difficulties where there are none. The investigation specifically said that Flynn was very cooperative. They had 19 meetings with him. They are giving him a reward. So why is that fishy? Of course if you are convinced that the investigation is baseless and you believe that Mueller has uncovered nothing major, then I suppose you would have to draw that conclusion. But it defies common sense.

yeah so Mueller is a sweet heart. giving a reward for treason because Flynn was so cooperative?

lol well we'll find out in a few months I hope.

Same for you if you are convinced that there is russian collusion, and Mueller is giving away such light sentences and are not perplexed?

anyway  im curious to know and putting out a theory. the transcript is what it is.

the rest is media spin.

You could also put out theories that aliens are outer space are involved. Calling something a theory doesn't make it reasonable. Here's a summary of Mueller's career in law enforcement befre the current investigation:

"He has spent the bulk of his career in government service, serving at times as an Assistant United States Attorney, a United States Attorney, United States Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, a homicide prosecutor in Washington, D.C., Acting United States Deputy Attorney General, and Director of the FBI."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Mueller

And yet he's somehow engaged in fishy behavior? He's pushing for extremely lenient sentencing despite the fact that he got little or nothing in return? After 19 sessions with Flynn?
