BANGKOK — A former Deputy Prime Minister under Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha’s first administration launched a scathing attack on the premier Monday detailing why he wouldn’t support his former boss to become PM again after elections.

Phuket Excise Chief denies alcohol sales tax jump, warns of possible ‘fake officials’

The Phuket Excise Chief, Wasin Seetalarom, today (Dec 24) flatly denied any immediate rises in the tax to be levied on alcohol.

 

PHUKET: The Chief of the Phuket office of the Excise Department has warned that ‘fake officials’ might be visiting businesses in Patong, Karon and Kata, explaining to operators that the levy on alcohol sales will rise by 10% next month.

BANGKOK, 25th December 2018 (NNT) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has deployed high pressure fire trucks to spray water into the air to decrease the amount of particulate matter in the atmosphere. The overall air pollution on Monday in Bangkok and its vicinity was better than the day before.
