E-Begging Are You Required To Have A Thai Work Visa?

There is a great debate on YouTube on one channel in particular . The guy is a mental nut job out of Rayong that has decided to make everyone life's miserable out of jealously . He has it out for any channel he considers competition . He and his trolls have been harassing other channels going on three years with little success . But he argues ALL E-Beggars and other channels he does at like as scammers. Oddly the guy himself is a pathological liar. And his channel has been taken down by YouTube three times for harassment and enticing violence .

Question: Do you need a Thai work visa while in Thailand to have a YouTube channel that either takes donations or sells products ?

Dunno....I suspect, as in a lot of cases, the only requirement needed is a "hard neck".

Sounds like a bit of a grudge topic ? the last sentence was all we needed me thinks,   I sell lots on E.bay here, have done for 15 years and never had any probs with the brass at the main PO.   TD.

There is a YouTube channel that is passing off bad information and harassing others and their channels. Run by this mental case.

If you're primarily filming in Thailand and running a YouTube channel you do legally need a work permit.

 

See section 6 of this interview with the Chiang Mai Labor Office. They discuss travel bloggers but the same applies to people filming in Thailand for YouTube as well - vlogging is a term for a reason.

Yes anyone earning money in Thailand with work done in Thailand (producing videos on Youtube is work), needs a work permit.  

If they are tourists on a few weeks vacation they don't have to worry, but if you live here like an expat all year around you have a problem .

Could be a nice try to get some attention to the youtube channel? But, every time I see a guy trying to get some fame by youtubing, and you see 13 min timeline, you know it is not even worth a try.

No this is fact . Don,t believe me there are numerous channels about this guy. I have no reason to troll and have a legitimate questions about stalking and E-Begging on YouTube. This guy is famous on YouTube Thailand. Hard to believe you never heard about him or this picture.

You sure do sound like the very guy i am talking about. What is my thing about him? Ask any YouTube channel that mentions his name. There are at least over a dozen.  He is a infamous YouTube bully a hypocrite that believes he is the Judge & Jury of Thailand. He tends to either get blood or egg all over his face with every video he makes. Look up the STALKING post on this site and watch the two videos. Or the dozens of videos and or channels about him on YouTube.

Look up Bender on YouTube his name is EVERYWHERE. Not crazy. Sick and tired of watching him get away with murder. But many say his end in Thailand is near. Just watch any channel about him and ask for their opinion . Just get ready for an earful .

Well mitkof, can you honestly say that you have never broken any law in Thailand?

 

Are you here on an appropriate visa, all up to date, have you ever bribed an immigration officer or any other official here in Thailand?  

 

Are you working here? Do you have appropriate documentation for that? Is your personal tax situation for Thailand in order and up to date?

 

And are you making an assumption the previous poster is a greg bender fan or do you have conclusive proof the poster is a greg bender fan (and personally I don't know who greg bender is and I don't care).

So why don't you just report him to the police then ?  I am sure Big Joke would be interested. He don't like foreigners on overstays and working here.
