Visa on Arrival Extension

Hi everyone and thanks in advance,

 

I arrived yesterday from the UK into Bangkok, i got the usual 30 days landing visa. 

 

It will expire on the 28th of January, my question is:

 

Can i go to extend this at the ChengWattana office for 30 days, or is it only 7 days?

(I've read conflicting answers regarding this, looking for a concrete answer)

It's a visa exempt, not a visa on arrival, that's probably the reason why you found conflicting answers ????

Yes, you can extend it by 30 days

It's not a Visa on Arrival, but we digress.

 

You can extend your Visa Exemption for a further 30 days at the Chaeng Watthana office for 1,900 Baht.

 

Others will be along with the exact requirements, photos, photocopies you need (all can be got at the immigration building).
