About keeping Milk in fridge

Featured Replies

Hello, hello, anyone kind enough to let me know if it is possible to freeze milk and then later defrost it to drink. Can that be done at all? If I buy a small size carton milk I lose money because a big size carton is cheaper. But I cannot finish the big size carton in time before it goes bad. Big size is 1 litre small size is 250 ml or 500 ml.

Anyone freeze milk before.

Yes I do this all the time. Absolutely no problem at all.

The only thing is don't freeze milk in cardboard cartons. The milk tastes of cardboard when it is defrosted.

Plastic bottles = you can't tell the milk has been defrosted.
