Six seaside areas in Nakhon Si Thammarat named disaster zones

Nakhon Si Thammarat Governor Chamroen Tipayapongtada has designated six seaside districts of the province as disaster zones and ordered the evacuation of residents by this evening.

 

All schools in these areas will be closed from today, while schools in Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat will be used to shelter the evacuees.

Looks like my wife and family are right in its path, between Khanom and Suratthani.. Wish I was there to give a hand with preparations but someone has gotta earn the coins !!
