Yet there is an official PCX sport, maybe not as nice as the one above, but I can't find this sport model on a Thai retail website...or am I not searching correctly?

For example Honda Brazil has it, but seems to be just about the color: https://www.honda.com.br/motos/pcx

Never rode it, only seen reviews, in general it seems to be: The electric motor assists when accelerating, but is limited to 3 seconds Idling stop shuts the engine off after 0.5 seconds instead of 3 Is it reasonable to buy it? I don't think so Would i buy it? If i were to buy a PCX i might spend the extra 16k for the hybrid version, while being fully aware that it's just for a bit of fun

I thought the whole point of hybrid was to charge a battery while the engine is burning gasoline, and once in a while to switch on the battery and thus avoid burning gasoline???

Yes, the engine is always running when you are driving (at least according to the reviews that i watched). Imho it should use slightly more fuel than the standard version, because the energy is converted, but maybe they can compensate this by charging the battery using increased engine breaking.
